So with mild insomnia and nothing better to do at this hour, I started poking around trying to think of something that might get this whole thing going. What I've found is this: our website really needs to be updated. And in a bad way. I know this gets said every semester and everybody agrees, but very little winds up getting done.
The home page and history seem fine with me, so those really don't need work.
The Purpose page, which I think is something we should emphasize more so in rush this coming semester, should be updated a bit. I say this only because Fatty Fat Travis and Fatty Fat Jessica were harping on us all of last year about how the Greek averages are far lower than the overall averages. I realize the school is being kind of a dick about releasing information to us, but I'm not so sure that we're above that these days. It also seems to me that there are other things that can be included under these topic headings for the Purpose. Also, is it possible to fix the background so there isn't a line through paragraphs? Maybe a solid pane?
The House page seems fine, although the picture on there could probably be updated after work week, and possibly include some pictures of the interior as well, and maybe the volleyball court too.
The Officers page always needs to be updated, especially since it hasn't been since last year. Also my name is spelled R-A-N-B-O-M. Just clarifying.
Members - New pictures, new composite.
Rush - especially important to be updated, especially if you consider the following: the Greek site has a link to our website on it, and the majority of the kids on campus do nothing but surf the internet. Best left to Mark and Jake.
So whoever's server now, be proactive. If you ever decide to reveal yourself before the end of my time at RPI and have yet to do anything to the website, I will spend all of my free time in your room. And I have a lot of it. I'm only taking 13 credits so far.
